Botox & Dysport Aftercare
The first 24 hours matter most. Here's exactly what to do — and what to leave alone.
The first 24 hours
- Stay upright for 4 hours. No lying flat, no face-down massage, no napping.
- Move the treated muscles gently for the first hour — frown, raise, squint. It helps the product settle where it was placed.
- No rubbing, pressing or massaging the treated area for 24 hours.
- Skip the gym, sauna, steam and hot yoga for 24 hours.
- No facials, microdermabrasion, lasers or peels for 2 weeks.
- Go easy on alcohol for 24 hours — it increases bruising.
